Earlier today I had to make a trip into the heart of Portland for a medical appointment, and following that visit I took the opportunity to walk around the downtown for a bit. I am not usually a street photography person, but I wanted to give it a shot, considering the X-Pro2 is supposedly so great for it.
It was actually a really eye opening experience; street photography is not as easy as it seems it would be. I found myself being fairly self-conscious about if people noticed I was taking a shot of them. I am sure that this goes away with more practice, but it was interesting to feel awkward about shooting someone, when they really didn’t even notice that I was there.
Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from the afternoon. I hope to get out and shoot some more like this again, it was a really fun experience.
