I made my yearly trek out to the east coast for Photo Plus Expo this past weekend, and it was my best one yet thanks to a variety of reasons. I had a pleasure of bunking with my EIC at The Phoblographer, Chris, who lives out in Brooklyn, it was great to get out of the buzz of Manhattan for a bit and see more of NYC than I had seen in previous years.
As far as the show went, it was a little crazy how small it was this year, even compared to last year there was a lot of unused space. That said, there was plenty on display to be excited about, everything from Hasselblad and Fujifilm’s mirrorless medium format system’s to Nikon’s VR gear, and so on and so forth.
I took the opportunity to play around with some street photography while I was in the big city and it did not disappoint.
